Summary
As a Management and Program Analyst in the SAC office, the incumbent primarily serves as a midlevel analyst on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations or the productivity as well as efficiency of the management of Federal agencies. This position serves as an analyst on a range of program activities requiring application of qualitative and-or quantitative methods for assessment of management processes, systems, and mission support programs. Those may include, but are not limited to strategic planning, statistical research and performance measurement; information systems; management techniques and theories; organizational structure; and planning and control systems, impacting a wide variety of activities and operations.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for or assists in implementing, coordinating, and/or overseeing a variety of management programs or activities impacting organizational activities or operations.
• Provides technical assistance and support to headquarters and field management staff in a variety of matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs to meet mission requirements.
• Plans, develops, or assists with planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for supervisors and executive management; ensures accurate and appropriately concise information is available.
• Responsible for and/or assists in implementing and monitoring management information systems that focus on long- and short-range plans, policies, and programs in the direction of goals, objectives and priorities established by statutes, executive orders, the Department of Homeland Security, and supervisor.
• Identifies potential applicability and effect of new or proposed legislation, executive orders, Agency, and DHS directives and other agency decisions on respective headquarters and field office operations, managerial programs, and requirements.
